Medicare Supplement Broker Incentives - 2026 Q4 Update

Insurance companies that operate in the brokerage Medicare Supplement market typically offer per policy bonuses to encourage agents to sell their products.  These bonuses generally vary by underwriting type to assist in achieving an appropriate mix of business.

Below is a listing of several incentive programs that are currently being offered.  The majority of these are scheduled to be available through the end of 2026.   

Notable changes for this quarter include:

• AFLAC has increased the bonus on Underwritten applications and Plan N Open Enrollment applications by $75.

• HealthSpring has expired the additional $100 bonus for new launch states.

• Humana has increased the bonus on Underwritten applications by $50, a $100 increase from Q2.

• Lumos has increased the bonus on Underwritten applications by $25 and added an Open Enrollment application bonus.

• Physicians Mutual has increased the bonus on Underwritten applications and Innovative G Open Enrollment applications by $50.
