Broker Incentives for Ancillary Products - October 2026 Update

Insurance companies that operate in the brokerage ancillary market typically offer per policy bonuses to encourage agents to sell their products.  These bonuses go beyond traditional commission schedules and often apply to a carrier’s suite of ancillary product offerings.

Below is a list of several carriers’ most recent publicly available incentive programs.  Most of these Incentive plans are set through the end of the year. We’ll continue to make updates as additional information becomes available.

Notable Changes:‍

  • American Home Life, Liberty Bankers Life, LifeSecure and United Healthcare rolled out new programs.

  • Manhattan Life introduced a Breast Cancer Awareness Month contest.

  • Mutual of Omaha increased the per-policy bonus by $45 for Hospital Indemnity products.

  • Most carriers offer a sales trip or vacation credit program throughout the calendar year. These types of bonuses are not included in the table above.
