Medicare Supplement Broker Incentives - 2025 Q2 Update
Insurance companies that operate in the brokerage Medicare Supplement market typically offer per policy bonuses to encourage agents to sell their products. These bonuses generally vary by underwriting type to assist in achieving an appropriate mix of business.
Below is a listing of several incentive programs that are currently being offered. The majority of these are scheduled to be available from April 1st through June 30th.
Two key trends that we are seeing:
There were a couple of carriers that scaled back their incentive programs from Q1 (Ace and AFLAC) and two other carriers have not yet announced their incentive programs for Q2 (Allstate and LifeShield).
Carriers continue to include bonus payments tied to sales on ancillary products (e.g., cancer and dental).
